Responsibilities

Responsible for designing and planning implementations and modifications to systems and applications, including security, access, and documentation. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures as they relate to servers, systems and applications that are delivered.

  • Responsible for overall global architecture for IT Systems, Applications, and Cloud Strategy.

  • Designs recovery strategies for IT Systems to allow for business continuity.

  • Performs advanced level troubleshooting of host systems and middleware servers and systems.

  • Performs advanced troubleshooting related to system and server connectivity.

  • Assists in developing best practices related to system/server performance, capacity and archiving.

  • Maintains system and server documentation (system drawings, best practices and performance and capacity metrics).

  • Defines and develops a maintenance strategy and maintenance scripts relating to backup and recoveries of system and servers.

  • Analyzes system and server performance statistics and performs required tuning activities to optimize performance.

  • Monitors logical security for all systems and servers assigned.

  • Performs logical security log reviews for audit compliance. Detects, reports and escalates anomalies.

  • Defines and assists with implementing IT best practices.

  • Provides training, mentoring, and coaching to other System Administrators through free flow of information, encouraging and appropriately evaluating feedback, encouraging innovation, and inspiring / motivating others.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years designing and implementing IT Systems and Applications.

  • Experience with designing and architecting IT Systems supporting a global employee base.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Systems and Applications such as:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2/2016

  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Federation Services, Certificate Services

  • Azure Active Directory

  • Intune Mobile Device Management

  • System Center Operations Manager & Configuration Manager

  • Office 365 and AD Connect

  • Exchange 2013/2016

  • Lync 2013/Skype for Business

  • Message Security and Email Filtering

  • Antivirus Systems

  • Multi-factor authentication systems

  • Desktop Virtualization (Citrix, VMware)

  • SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint Online

Knowledge and understanding of any of the following considered an asset:

  • ITIL Certifications

  • Information Security Experience

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux

  • Advanced PowerShell and Scripting Experience

  • EasyVista

  • SNOW Asset Management

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $53,800 - $129,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
